Pelancaran Laman Web UMNO Terengganu Hari Ahad 18

Pagi-pagi hari sabtu dalam pukul 4 dah bagun, dalam pukul 5.45 sampai KL Sentral. Sebab flight aku ke Kuala Terengganu pada pukul 7:35 lebih kurang. Bila sampai di sana Driver kerajaan negeri ambil aku dan terus hantar ke Hotel Primula. Lepas tu aku lepak untuk rehat sekejap dengan saudara ikmal kat bilik hotel. Dalam pukul 3:00 Dirver En. Mazlan call aku untuk bersiap pergi ke Pejabat Perhubungan UMNO Negeri Terenagganu, aku tunggu di Lobi sementara En. Mazlan Pick up aku.
Esoknya pelancaran pada pukul 2:30 petang..http://www.umno-terengganu.net. Semasa Ucapan YB Ahmad Sahbery dan juga MB berterima kasih kepada aku dan ikmal. Seorang anak muda yang pandai didalam bidang IT telah menolong Badan Perhubungan UMNO Terengganu. Terima Kasih Kepada MB Terengganu YAB. Dato' Seri Haji Idris B. Jusoh dan Ketua Penerangan YB. Ahmad Sahbery memberi kepercayaan kepada aku dan juga ikmal untuk monitor setiap Bahagian, Parlimen dan Adun.
Idris: Website should not become ‘cobweb’

DON’T let the Terengganu Umno website become a “cobweb.”
That was the reminder from Terengganu Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Idris Jusoh to the webmasters of the newly-launched website.
He said that “cobwebs” – websites that were not updated regularly – would not serve the purpose for which they were set up.
He gave several examples of websites of several ministries which had come under fire for not carrying the latest information.
“It is easy for software developers to develop a website, but the hardest part is to maintain it to ensure the information is always relevant,” he said when launching the website www.umno-terengganu.net at the state party headquarters in Kuala Terengganu on Ahad.
He urged party leaders including MPs and assemblymen to post information on activities such as meetings, constituency visits and overseas visits on the website.
“Since you may not have the time, your duties can be undertaken by your private assistants,” he said.
The website, he said, would be useful to counter lies spread by opposition parties which have set up their own websites.
Idris said he did a search on the Internet under his name and found the first four articles portrayed him in bad light.
“People who don’t know me might have a negative impression of me after reading the reports,” he said.
He urged all Umno divisions to set up websites as the younger generation prefer to surf the Net for information.
He said that being IT-savvy was one of the requirements for state development under the slogan Islam Hadhari Terengganu Bestari (Civilisational Islam, Smart Terengganu).
Also present at the function was state Umno Information bureau head Ahmad Shabery Cheek who was responsible for setting up the website.
